What the Privacy Policy covers

This policy covers Customer Information, which means non-public, personally identifiable information about a consumer or customer’s current or former relationship with Intertrans, Inc. This policy is provided to you as required by the Federal Financial Privacy Law.

What you should know

We collect and use five various types of information to service your accounts, save you time and money, and to better understand and respond to your needs. Customer Information we collect is categorized as follows:

  • Transaction and experience information. Information about your account experience with us, such as your account balance, payment history, or information about our communications with you.
  • Consumer report information. Information regarding your creditworthiness or credit history.
  • Information from outside sources. Information from outside sources regarding their employment, credit or other relationships with you, or verifying representations made by you, such as your employment history, loan or credit card balances if applicable.

Sharing information within Intertrans, Inc

Intertrans may share all five types of customer information referenced above among our operations and servicing departments. We limit access to Customer Information and what type of information is shared to those employees or associates who need to know that information to provide you with greater convenience and more choices.

Sharing information with companies that work for us.

We may share all five types of Customer Information with companies that work for us, including some of our own subsidiaries, to provide you products and services that you’ve requested or already have with us. We share the information needed to provide those products and services and to provide a good customer experience. These companies may include financial service providers such as insurance companies and payment processing companies and non-financial companies such as data processing companies. For example, these companies might assist us in fulfilling your service request, processing your transaction, or mailing account statements.

Protecting your information from marketers outside Intertrans, Inc.

While Intertrans, Inc. works to protect your privacy, you also play a role in protecting personal information.

To help safeguard your personal information, we suggest the following:
